Fund Raising For Clubs...
Over the past four years  Sports Media Advertising  have been helping clubs raise funds by installing High Definition Media Screens into the Sports Clubs and encouraging local business to sponsor an advert on the screen.
Adverts are sold by  Sports Media Advertising  from leads supplied by the club (usually reputable companies that have been used by club members) on a yearly basis which offers the companies excellent value for money.
It gives the club the opportunity to promote the business to the club members, friends and families, guests and every visiting team to the club week in week out and the opportunity for local business to be able to support the local community club without it costing the earth.
The success of the scheme depends upon the number of leads supplied by the club and regular club liaison with  Sports Media Advertising  -   it can provide a valuable revenue stream for many years to come – it also provides the club with a  21 st Century Notice Board - Adverts are interspersed with items of club news and information such as:

Contact Numbers of Key Club Contacts
• Forthcoming Social Events
• Weekly Club Events ie Quiz Nights, Happy Hour, Bar Opening Times etc
• Forthcoming Meetings / Key Club Dates
• Fixtures
• Practice Night Information
• Club Photographs
• Beers, Wines, Soft Drinks and Snacks on offer

There are no outlay costs to the club whatsoever – the cost of installation, sales of adverts, design of adverts and collection of cash is taken from the initial tranche of adverts.
Subsequent adverts are sold and the club receive 75% of all advertising revenue – 25% is retained by  Sports Media Advertising
The more adverts sold, the more the club makes -   it’s as simple as that!
The screen is updated on a regular basis by  Sports Media Advertising at no extra cost  using information supplied by the club
The club receive a financial statement on a regular basis and monies are paid into club accounts by BACS on a three monthly basis

Additional Benefits...
Sports Media Advertising  work with the  Leagues, County Boards, ACO and ECB  to disseminate information to the clubs such as Coaching and Umpires/Scorers Courses, News and Information and also promotes National and League Sponsors Logos to the clubs.
Also club events can be advertised to other clubs in the area to promote sales of tickets from outside the club such as:

• Sportsman’s Dinners
• Comedy Nights
• Race Nights
• Seasonal Events- New Year’s Party, Bonfire Night, Christmas Party etc
• Charity Events

Another source of revenue is the display of Christmas and Birthday messages for Club Members – this service is supplied by  Sports Media Advertising  on a  FOC basis.
Existing Main Sponsors can be recognised with additional advertising on the screen to supplement existing arrangements such as Shirt Sponsorship, Perimeter Board etc-   this service is again provided to the clubs on a  FOC basis.

Systems have been fitted in both large and small clubs to varying degrees of success – and for  clubs without a bar, screens are now being fitted in  local pubs  used by the club.
To make the initiative work it needs plenty of input from the club of potential advertisers, local business, companies that supply the club (ground equipment, catering supplier, alarm, heating, lighting maintenance etc) and a regular stream of club information.
